Believing in accessibility for all

Sofa surfing

If you find yourself without a permanent home and stay between friends and family on a regular basis, you could be what is classed as 'sofa surfing'. Sofa surfing is a form of homelessness.

If you are sofa surfing then please contact us and we will be able to work with you to find permanent housing for you. There are things that you can also do in the meantime such as:

  • Looking online for suitable private rented properties
  • Signing up to local Housing Associations
  • Completing a Homes in the City application on our website

If you contact us, we will take some details from you and, if appropriate, will try to negotiate for you to continue staying with friends or family, whilst we work with you to find somewhere else to live.

If this is not possible, then we will take a Homeless Application from you and work with you to find somewhere else to live.
