My tenancy
As a tenant, you have rights and responsibilities, which are detailed in your tenancy agreement.
Your tenancy and leasehold officer can visit you at home, make an appointment to meet you, or provide help and advice over the phone (please contact us via Homes Direct). They will:
- help you with any questions about your tenancy
- talk to you about any support you may need to manage your tenancy
- work in partnership with other agencies to ensure that estates are clean, well maintained, and secure, and that gardens are tidy
- work closely with tenant and resident associations and community police to make your area a better place to live
Our tenancy and leasehold officers are out and about regularly in your neighbourhood. Through this approach, we also aim to get to know you and your community better and make sure you have everything you need to maintain a healthy and happy home.
