Window Safety

Keep your family safe from falls from balconies and windows by following this guidance:

• Move furniture away from openings
• Keep windows locked shut and use opening restrictors
• Don’t leave your windows in ‘turn’ mode (pictured below on the left) as this is only for maintenance use. Instead, use them in ‘tilt’ mode (pictured below on the right)

• Use window handles correctly. If the handle is not located in either the tilt or turn mode (as pictured above) and is in-between instead, the casements can fall out
• Report any faulty window latches or safety devices to us as soon as possible
• Contact us if you are concerned about the safety of the operation of your window or balcony doors
