We’ve made a small change that reflects a big part of what we do.
Our Community Development Officers are now known as Resident Engagement Officers (REOs) – a new name that better highlights their role, working closely with you, our customers.
While the name has changed, their commitment to building strong relationships and putting your voice at the heart of what we do remains the same.
The officers – Bethany, Evelyn, Louise and Trisha – are our engagement experts who ensure we listen to and hear the customer voice while at the same time ensuring our key messages are relayed to customers.
Their role is to create and increase connections with the wider community and build relationships with you and other stakeholders, ensuring we understand your needs and acting upon them.
They also attend a whole host of events across the city, supporting and advising customers and working closely with local councillors in their wards and identifying any corporate social responsibility (CSR) opportunities.
From co-ordinating Let’s Talks sessions to attending community drop-in events, the team is the foundation of WH’s community support programme.
Each Resident Engagement Officer is responsible for specific wards in Wolverhampton.
