Do you receive Universal Credit?
This year is what's known as a 53-week year. This happens every six or seven years.
You will receive slightly less in benefits than your rent amount. This is because:
- Rent will be charged 53 times this year (instead of the usual 52)
- The Department for Work and Pensions only ever works on a 52-week year basis
