Responding to valuable feedback from customers, Wolverhampton Homes (WH) launches their new community clean-up initiative, 'Down Your Way'.
Aimed at supporting customers with managing their neighbourhoods, Wolverhampton Homes colleagues will be available for housing advice and support, as well as cleaning communal areas and reporting fly tipping.
The first ‘Down Your Way’ event took place on the week commencing Monday 11 December 2023, and focused on the Ettingshall area following on from reports of environmental issues on the estate from customers. Listening to customer feedback, more ‘Down Your Way’ events in various locations will be planned in 2024.
Key activities at ‘Down Your Way’ events include:
- Neighbourhood tidying: Their dedicated Neighbourhood team actively involved in tidying up communal areas, ensuring a clean and pleasant environment for everyone.
- Fly tipping management: Supporting the City of Wolverhampton Council, the team are committed to addressing fly tipping promptly. Residents can report fly tipping online: shopatipper.com
- Tenancy support: Your local Tenancy Management team will be available to assist with tenancy queries.
- Repair assistance: Members of the Wolverhampton Homes Repairs team will address any repair queries or concerns customers have in the community.
During the events, Wolverhampton Homes will be easily identifiable in high-visibility clothing. Customers are encouraged to participate and interact with Wolverhampton Homes when you see them out in the community.
