Wolverhampton Homes has won a prestigious award for its work on My Account, the transformative customer app.
The Best Digital Experience (Landlord) at the 2025 Housing Innovation Awards is our first award for the app and recognises the innovative approach to customer engagement.
Launched in November 2023, My Account has rapidly grown and now has 25,030 registered accounts. In January 2025 alone, there were 52,085 individual login sessions and customers raised 781 repairs through the app.
Customer at the heart
Sam Dugmore, Systems Development and Support Manager, said: “We are so proud to have won this award for My Account. We have quickly seen how the app has helped to support the drive for efficiency or our customers and within the organisation and this has empowered customers in the way they engage with it.
“At the heart of this is using customer feedback to ensure enhancements and improvements are based on user experience. The next stage of innovations and enhancements are under way, which will bring further improvements based on customer feedback.”

“The app has been a phenomenal success so far, with a significant increase in digital contact from our customers and a more streamlined approach. The app allows customers to book, amend and manage their own repairs, which has led to a reduction in failed appointments and no access issues, creating a cost saving for Wolverhampton Homes and a better service for customers.”
The win comes just weeks after Wolverhampton Homes picked up the Best Zero Carbon Initiative Award with Wates Group.
